Dr. Cindy Chay
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
I have an amazing opportunity to connect with my amazing patients! Children are super special and should be treated with plenty of love, patience, and encouragements. Every child deserves to have a positive dental experience! This is why I chose this field and why our La Petite Dent family exists today!
Dr. Cindy Chay graduated from New Jersey Dental School with a dual-degree in Dentistry and a Master’s in Public Health. She went on to complete her General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center. Her interest in behavior management and working with special needs patients led her to the highly competitive Fellowship program at the Rose F. Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. There, she provided dental care for children and adults with developmental disabilities and chronic medical conditions including Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD and Cerebral Palsy. She furthered her training at the Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she served as chief resident her second year. She was inducted into the prestigious Leo M. Davidoff Society for excellence in teaching. Soon after receiving her certificate, Dr. Cindy became Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Cindy also completed her orthodontic specialty training at the highly competitive NYU Langone Orthodontic Residency Program in Brooklyn, NY. Her goal is to ensure that all LPD patients receive thorough and truly comprehensive dental care from start to finish.
Dr. Cindy has been on multiple volunteer trips, most recently to Guatemala providing dental services to children without dental care access. She finds tremendous pleasure working with kids and in creating a positive experience for every patient she treats. During her free time, you will find Dr. Cindy hanging out with her family at a local park or the mall.
