Dr. Cindy Chay
Dr. Cindy is board-certified in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, which lets her look at a child's teeth, jaws, and airway as one picture.
About Dr. Cindy
Dr. Cindy leads La Petite Dent's airway-focused orthodontic care. Her interest in the airway is personal: her own daughter was born with a severe tongue-tie that went on to affect her palate, her bite, and her breathing. Finding answers for her daughter changed the way Dr. Cindy practices.
Today she evaluates how a child breathes, sleeps, and grows before recommending treatment, and uses early guidance, expanders, braces, and clear aligners to reach results that are healthy and stable, not only straight. She works closely with ENTs and myofunctional therapists.
