Dr. Cindy Chay

Airway-Focused Orthodontics

Dr. Cindy leads the airway-focused orthodontic side of La Petite Dent, looking at how a child's jaws, palate, and airway are developing before recommending treatment. A board-certified orthodontist and board-certified pediatric dentist, she sees orthodontic patients only, from a young child's first orthodontic evaluation to a teen's or young adult's last day in braces.

Dr. Katherine Bracy

Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Bracy is a board-certified pediatric dentist with over 10 years of experience in laser frenectomies, who is also a certified lactation counselor. She looks at how a baby feeds, not just at the tie, and works alongside your lactation consultant before and after treatment.

Dr. Velilla has cared for children since 2003 and teaches dental residents at Hackensack University Medical Center. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, she has also run six marathons and set foot on all seven continents.

    A gentle first visit

    We like to see your baby for a first dental visit by their first birthday: a gentle checkup and tips for caring for those first teeth. Feeding struggles? A tongue- and lip-tie evaluation is a separate visit, where we look at feeding and work alongside your lactation consultant.

    Healthy habits, happy visits

    Checkups and cleanings are calm and playful. We help children build confidence in caring for their own teeth and in visiting the dentist. We also keep an eye on how your child breathes and sleeps, since mouth breathing and snoring are worth noticing early.
